Great Mosque of Algiers
Djamaa el Djazaïr, also known as the Great Mosque of Algiers, is home to the world’s tallest minaret (265m high)…
Created in 2005, GRTgaz is a French subsidiary of the industrial group ENGIE and of a public consortium.
As the operator of the gas transmission system in France, its role is to transport and deliver natural gas through 32,320 km of high-pressure pipelines, 27 compressor stations and 4,411 delivery stations. Its mission is to operate, maintain and develop a gas pipeline network and to market transmission capacity to its customers.
GRTgaz owns the transmission system, which is its industrial tool. It fulfils public service missions by guaranteeing the continuity of natural gas transmission.
To meet this objective, GRTgaz has set up an investment programme to secure its system and maintain its facilities. The doors meet site security requirements in terms of both fire and burglary protection, while ensuring minimum maintenance and maximum longevity.
