The Challenge<\/h5>\n

The entire production staff must follow the same route to reach the production unit. They also have access to a common cafeteria, and to get there, they must again use the same corridors.<\/p>\n

As a result, some doors open and close hundreds of times a day.
Moreover, this flow of personnel must not be disrupted by the delivery of goods to production.<\/p>\n

The Heinen Solution<\/h5>\n

The collaboration between the Heinen Doors team and their installation partners is a key asset in finding the best solution to the challenge.<\/p>\n

In this case, the partner company, DS Projekten, ensured the compartmentalization of the production area from the rest of the building with fire doors.<\/p>\n

Some of these Heinen doors undergo more than 400,000 opening and closing cycles per year.<\/p>\n

In 15 years, the only maintenance of these doors has been replacing the hinges, the door closer, and the electric strike.<\/p>\n
