Das LNG-Terminal von Fluxys befindet sich daher in einer extrem korrosiven Umgebung. Der Stahl der Tore ist durch das Meerwasser und die salzhaltige Luft starken Belastungen ausgesetzt. Deren langsame und allm\u00e4hliche Einwirkung auf das Metall f\u00fchrt zu Korrosion. Seit 2021 hat sich Heinen f\u00fcr eine h\u00f6here Stahlqualit\u00e4t, Magnelis\u00ae ZM 250 von ArcelorMittal , entschieden. Die Dicke der Beschichtung betr\u00e4gt 20 \u03bcm\/Seite bei 250g\/m\u00b2.
